আমাকে অনেক ডক্টর বলেছেন তাদের গগলস খুবই প্রয়োজন। আমরা চিন্তা করতে থাকি কিভাবে সহজে বানানো যায়। শেষ পর্যন্ত কিছু পাগলামি বুদ্ধি আসে। আমরা PVC শিট, OHP শিট অথবা ক্লিয়ার ফাইল, সাইকেলের টিউব, সুপারগ্লু, ইলাস্টিক ব্যবহার করে তৈরী করি। পরে যেখলাম সামনের স্বচ্ছ শিটটা(OHP or Clear File) না কাটলে এটা একপ্রকার গগলস সেই সাথে ফেইসশিল্ড হিসেবে কাজ করে(করার কথা)। এত রাতে সাইকেলের টিউব পাব কোথায়। তাই একজন মেডিকেলের ছাত্র তার ভাল সাইকেলের টিউব আমাদেরকে কাটার অনুমতি দিল।
প্রস্তুত প্রণালী: PVC শিট এর সাইজ ভিডিওতে বলা আছে সেভাবে কাটুন। জোড়া দেয়ার জন্য Superglue ব্যবহার করুন। সাইকেলের টিউব ভাল করে পরিষ্কার করে কাটুন এবং তা Superglue দিয়ে বানানো পিভিসি শিটের বক্সটার সাথে লাগান। এমনভাবে লাগানোর চেষ্টা করুন যেন ফাকা জায়গা না থাকে। OHP শিট অথবা ক্লিয়ার ফাইল Superglue দিয়ে গগলস এর সাথে লাগান। তারপর ভিডিওর মত করে ইলাস্টিক লাগান। ইলাস্টিকের জয়েন্টে Hot Glue দিয়ে দিন। ব্যবহারের আগে ভাল করে জীবাণুনাশক দিয়ে পরিষ্কার করতে হবে। আবারো বলছি এটা কতটুকু কাজ করে আমরা টেস্ট করি নি। এগুলোর জন্য বিভিন্ন ধরনের Biosafety level আছে।

DIY PPE goggles for doctors(For Coronavirus Situation) without 3D Printing. V1.0
This is an open-source project. I will give the specification document once it is completed. This is neither a professional solution nor alternative of proper medical goggles. But It can be used as something is better than nothing approach. Doctors have been requesting me to make goggles for them since coronavirus situation getting worse and a lack of professional goggles. So, We came up with a crazy idea. We could use the 3D printer(we will make one) but the problem is this process is too slow and everybody can’t make. So we have used PVC Sheet, OHP Sheet or Clear File, Bicycle Tube, Superglue, Elastic ribbon, etc. Eventually, we have realized that it’s not necessary to cut the excess transparent sheet as it is acting as a Faceshield. So ultimately it’s Faceshield + Goggles.
Making Process:
PVC Sheet(Goggle’s box) dimension is horizontally 15cm and vertically 6cm and depth is about 6 to 8 cm. A cutout plan will be published soon. There are four sides to the frame. Use Superglue to attach them together. A Bicycle tube was cleaned and then cut into 4 pieces radially. So a strip of length 50 cm and width of 2 cm has been attached with superglue for a better fit on the forehead and minimizing the additional gap. An OHP (Clear sheet) or clear file was attached on the rectangle side of the pvc frame using superglue. Then an elastic ribbon was attached on both sides similar to the common backpack shoulder ribbon. It can be adjusted as necessary. Finally, fix the elastic ribbon joints with the frame using hot glue. Now you can clean it with a proper disinfectant and it’s ready to use. We want to remind you again that it has not been tested properly compared to the commercial professional goggles.
